Satanic Winged and Horned Angel

Satanic Winged and Horned Angel is an image created by Nigel Wingrove in 2024 as part of an ongoing exploration of occultism, paganism, and imagined ritual.

A horned female figure stands with enormous outstretched wings formed from feathers, branches, and tangled organic growth. Combining the visual language of the fallen angel with pagan and satanic symbolism, the figure appears simultaneously beautiful and ominous, poised somewhere between supernatural deity and creature of the forest. Rendered in stark black and white, the image draws upon occult iconography, dark romanticism and gothic fantasy to create an atmosphere that is both ritualistic and unsettling.
